About the Event

A workshop on why we get caught in the Happiness Trap and how to find peace of mind, regardless of our circumstances.

What is this about?

Do you want to live a more fulfilled life, where you have clarity of mind and inner wellbeing? Where you are free to take actions aligned with your purpose, while having fun in the process?

What if I tell you that this is all available to you right now, but maybe you are not living it because of an important misunderstanding?

Most of the time, we are innocently searching for something outside ourselves to get us to this mythical place of happiness and inner peace.

We try to create the optimal conditions: a happy relationship, a new relationship, becoming more successful in our jobs or careers, gaining more power or money... We try examining our past, especially our negative experiences, to try and find some clue that will allow us to break out of our long-held insecurities and unhappiness. We get convinced that we need to work really hard on ourselves, to heal, to fix what is damaged in the process of living.

We search in so many ways but with all our efforts, most of us still have very little in the way of clear insight into how to live a fulfilled life or find serenity inside.

What happens in the workshop?

This workshop is intended to share a fundamental understanding with you, called The Three Principles, encompassing Mind, Consciousness and Thought. It is an understanding about the human experience, which if you understand it deeply, will transform your life.

It goes radically against the current paradigm in our society that tells us we need external things to make us feel good. It starts from the premise that we don’t need anything. And this insight will set you free to do and create anything you want.

The facilitator will share the Three Principles understanding in different ways and will take time to discuss and share experiences. It will be an interactive session and there will be opportunities to explore the principles in smaller group work.

How to take part?

About the facilitator: Eveline Tijs is an experienced facilitator and trained coach and psychotherapist, based in Hastings Old Town, UK. She is committed to encouraging people to reconnect to themselves, others and the natural world. And to live a life of creation and purpose, supporting the shift towards a regenerative society.

Her words: ‘I have always been a seeker with a strong desire to know more about our human experience: why do we do what we do? How is it that we sometimes seem to block ourselves from living a limitless life? And in general: why are we not more awesome given the opportunities that life offers us?! I have done extensive personal development work, workshops and trainings, meditation and yoga retreats, spiritual journeys all over the world… and then stumbled upon the Principles. I recognise all of the experiences I had are just different fingers pointing at the moon, nudging me to really look, and deeply understand. I haven’t found a finger as easily accessible and simple as the Three Principles, and am very excited to sharing this insight with you all!’
